The service blends elements familiar to any churchgoer: A variety of Christ-centered music, scripture, prayer, message, and Lord’s Supper. The service also incorporates traditions familiar to people who attend 12-step groups, including a responsive reading of the steps, the Serenity Prayer, and an opportunity for individuals to share in response to the message.
