Cornerstone Academy provides a small, private, Christian school environment for about 25 high school students each year. Most of the students at the Academy have left other high schools, seeking a school that will give them comprehensive, yet more personalized education.

The Academy intentionally strives to:

  • Provide a challenging innovative curriculum for its students
  • Assist students in being productive aftergraduation by helping them join the work force and assisting them with college/career choices;
  • Help students identify and overcome negative habits that will harm their future
  • Provide a safe atmosphere for our students
  • Be an affordable school for low-income students.

You can become involved in this ministry by:

  • Helping to write the newsletter
  • Offering occasional office assistance
  • Sharing your expertise as a guest speaker in the classroom or teaching a 2-week block class
  • Allowing a student to accompany you for a week of work as part of a vocational "try-out" program
  • Serving as a board member
