global ministries

We believe that responding to the call and claims of Jesus Christ involves a responsibility to serve as the presence of Jesus in this world right now. This, we believe, means extending both compassion and the spiritual hope of the gospel to the whole world.

We also believe that the LaSalle community is more healthy when it has an outward focus and when it has opportunities to learn and grow through contact with the radically diverse worldwide church. This is the purpose of global ministry at LaSalle.

LaSalle Global Ministry is accomplished through people who have partnered with LaSalle to assist the Christian church around the world. In most cases, these workers minister under the direction of another ministry organization (e.g. mission board, foreign school), though they are partially funded and accountable to LaSalle Street Church.
