About Sundays

Join us for worship

We follow a worship rhythm of 4 types of services - Banquet, Serve, Belong, and Sabbath Sundays. Learn more about what to expect from our services and what we have going on this week at the link below.

Who You’ll Meet

We’re comprised of a mix of long-time Jesus-followers along with many processing what they believe, deconstruction, reconstruction, healing from past church experiences, and those celebrating intersectional faith. We’re a multiethnic/majority white congregation, and contain influences from various faith traditions (Catholic, evangelical, Lutheran, Brethren, COGIC, immigrant, among others). We’re known for being innovative, generous, active in the community and politics, always serving Lou Malnati’s on pizza night, and at one time were the home church of Philip Yancey, Sojourners, and Northwestern Medical Ministries. Today you’ll find casually dressed young professionals and grad students, retired elders who give warm hugs during our extended greeting time, and kids/families of all shapes and sizes. There’s commuters from all over Chicagoland, locals from Near North/Old Town, and some of our unhoused neighbors in the community who attend. Our membership is around 200, with about 300 regular attenders, and a growing online membership/attender base. We hope to meet you soon!
