PARTNERSHIPS

LaSalle has a long history of incubating, releasing, and encouraging a wide range of community-based justice and compassion ministries. We continue to celebrate this legacy and look forward toward the new places where we’re being called to invest in and focus on for the future. Read more about our partner ministries, affiliated organization, and missionaries below.

Core Ministries

Breaking Bread

This LSC ministry reaches out to hungry and unhoused individuals and families in our neighborhood. Each Wednesday evening we serve a chef-cooked meal and deliver plates to over 180 guests in total.

Senior Market

This LSC ministry distributes free groceries to community seniors across the Near North Side. Twice a month, neighbors from the multiple senior buildings near LaSalle come to Leslie Hall to pick up grocery staples.

Near North Unity Program (NNUP)

NNUP seeks to promote community cohesion in the Near North side by developing programs that connect neighbors across race, class, and housing status. NNUP works across four priority areas – youth & family (offering positive opportunities for our youth), land use & development, community safety, and employment.
